Hyundai Mobis has introduced a new data-driven validation system designed to significantly reduce the time required for testing software-defined vehicle (SDV) components. This system integrates real-world
road data with simulator environments, allowing for comprehensive testing of autonomous driving and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The platform is capable of completing 10,000 hours of evaluation work in just one week by using 60 connected simulators. This approach allows for the replication of challenging driving conditions such as night driving, rain, and unexpected incidents, which are difficult to reproduce physically. The system aims to enhance the recognition performance and stability of various sensors and electronic control units (ECUs) used in autonomous vehicles.
