What's Happening?
The California Post, a new publication set to launch on January 26, will operate from a newsroom on the Fox Lot in Century City, Los Angeles. This West Coast sister publication of the New York Post will publish both digitally and in print, seven days a week. Initially, the newspaper's sports coverage will concentrate on Los Angeles teams, particularly the Dodgers and the Lakers. The California Post has recruited a team of experienced sports journalists, including Dylan Hernandez and Jack Harris from the Los Angeles Times for baseball coverage, and Khobi Price and Melissa Rohlin for NBA coverage. Ryan Kostecka, formerly of the Minnesota Star Tribune, will lead the sports section. Edward Lewis, a former senior producer for TMZ Sports, will also
join as a senior sports reporter.
