By increasing local production capacity, HD Hyundai Electric can reduce supply lead times and enhance customer service, which is crucial for maintaining competitiveness in the power transformer industry. The investment also highlights the growing demand for high-capacity transformers as the U.S. continues to upgrade its electrical grid. Additionally, the project will create new jobs, contributing to the local economy in Montgomery, Alabama.
