Don Granato has been appointed as the head coach for Team USA at the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships. Announced by USA Hockey national team general manager Brett Peterson, Granato brings extensive experience to the role,

Granato, a native of Downers Grove, Illinois, has a history of coaching in the NHL and AHL, including a recent stint with the Buffalo Sabres. He will lead the defending champion U.S. team in the tournament scheduled for May 15-31 in Fribourg, Switzerland.
