The Muskingum County Speedway in Dresden, Ohio, is set to begin its 2026 racing season with the Essential Ohio Energy Opening Night on April 25. Sponsored by the Ohio Natural Energy Institute (ONEi), this
event marks the first of three races supported by the institute this year. The Speedway, historically linked to Ohio's oil and gas industry, continues to honor this tradition under the management of Tristin Moran, grandson of the late Ronnie Moran, a former oil well driller and track promoter. The event celebrates the community's growth driven by the energy sector, with gates opening at 4 p.m., hot laps at 5 p.m., and races starting at 6 p.m.
