Silverback Marine has successfully completed sea trials and commissioned the OX series, a new twin Z-Drive equipped truckable tug. This innovative vessel is designed to fulfill the vision of a truly tow-capable, tractor tug style vessel for the non subchapter
M market. Unlike traditional truckable tugs, which are limited to pushing due to their prop and rudder design, the OX tug features a 25 x 16 hull form with true tractor-tug lines. This design, combined with the Schottel Z Drive propulsion package, significantly enhances its maneuverability and towing capabilities.
