SR Technics has commenced operations at a new engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in Bad Zurzach, Switzerland. This facility, located approximately 25 miles northwest of Zurich, is designed to handle quick-turn engine MRO services for CFM International CFM56-5B/7B and Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines. The new center, named SR Technics Zurzach, aims to provide high-level engine inspections, repairs, modifications, and field assistance services to a global customer base. The first engine inducted at the facility is a CFM56-7B from Dutch low-cost carrier Transavia Airlines. This development follows regulatory approvals from the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation.
