What's Happening?
MassRobotics, in collaboration with Festo, Novanta, and Mitsubishi Electric Automation, has announced the selection of 11 startups for its 2026 Healthcare Robotics Startup Catalyst Program. This initiative
aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of robotic technologies that improve clinical care, hospital operations, and laboratory automation. The program, now in its fifth cohort, includes startups like Whelix, which focuses on automating cell culture processes to reduce costs in cell-cultured meat production. The selected companies will participate in a five-month mentorship program, connecting them with senior-level experts and the broader Boston robotics and medical ecosystem. The program features a hybrid structure with key events such as Healthcare in Robotics Week and the Robotics Summit & Expo.
