The second annual North America's 50 Best Restaurants list was announced, with 13 New York City restaurants making the cut. Atomix, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, ranked highest among NYC entries at
No. 7. César, another two-Michelin-starred establishment, followed at No. 10. Chicago's Smyth claimed the top spot. Notably, several NYC restaurants from last year's list did not return, including Cafe Carmellini and Via Carota. Specialty awards were given to Lysée’s Eunji Lee for Best Pastry Chef and Le Bernardin's Aldo Sohm for Best Sommelier.
