Internationally, Gajan represented Slovakia at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina and participated in the 2023 and 2024 IIHF World Junior Championships. He was recognized as the Best Goaltender at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship. Gajan was selected by the Blackhawks in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft.
