What's Happening?
Steve Bowman, the founding drummer of Counting Crows, is conducting an Appalachian Percussion Workshop in Southern Oregon. The workshop, held at the Jacksonville Community Center, offers participants a hands-on experience with traditional Appalachian instruments
such as the washboard, spoons, and cajon. Limited to six students, the session aims to teach the musicality and confidence needed to play these instruments. Bowman's extensive experience in the music industry, including his work with bands like Third Eye Blind and Luce, adds a professional touch to the workshop.
