Queens, New York, will also honor Adam Aron, chairman and CEO of AMC Entertainment, with the Moving Image Industry Tribute. Bacon and Sedgwick are recognized for their significant contributions to American cinema, with Bacon known for films like 'Footloose' and 'Mystic River,' and Sedgwick for 'Born on the Fourth of July' and 'The Edge of Seventeen.' Aron is acknowledged for his leadership in transforming AMC into the largest movie theater chain globally, serving over 250 million guests annually. The event will include a cocktail reception, awards presentation, and a seated dinner.
