This year, Jacob Schroeder, a former player who excelled in college baseball, will serve as the grand marshal. Homewood's celebration will mark the league's 75th anniversary, with a parade starting from Irwin Park. The first pitch ceremonies will honor two late volunteers, John Hurtubise and Mike Nussbaum, with their children participating in the event.
