Kelvin Evans, accused of stealing hard drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music, pleaded guilty to charges of criminal trespass and entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft. The theft occurred in July 2025, involving the removal of jump drives with unreleased music and other
materials from a rental vehicle in Atlanta. Evans was sentenced to five years, including two years in prison and three years on probation. He was also ordered to stay away from the victims and the theft location. Surveillance footage showed Evans taking black suitcases from a vehicle, which were never recovered.
