Payal Kapadia, an acclaimed Indian filmmaker, has been appointed as the president of the jury for the 65th Cannes Critics’ Week, scheduled to run from May 13-21. Kapadia, known for her film 'All We Imagine as Light,' which won the Grand Prix at Cannes in 2024,
will lead a diverse jury including Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin, French singer-songwriter Oklou, Ghanaian-British producer Ama Ampadu, and journalist Donsaron Kovitvanitcha.
