The company drilled four diamond drill holes totaling 1,179 meters, targeting high-grade, large-scale gold mineralization. The drilling was completed within the expected three-week timeframe without any incidents. Managing Director Mark Purcell expressed optimism about the potential for discovering a large, high-grade gold deposit, with assay results anticipated in the next six to eight weeks. The drill core samples are currently being sent to ALS laboratory in Brisbane for preparation and assaying. NewPeak plans to release detailed information about the hole locations, depths, and orientations alongside the assay results once
they are available.
