The Servite and Rosary high school relay teams are set to compete at the Mt. SAC Relays at Mt. San Antonio College following their record-breaking performances at the Arcadia Invitational. The Servite team, consisting of sophomores Jace Wells, Jorden
Wells, Kamil Pelovello, and junior Benjamin Harris, achieved a time of 39.70 seconds in the 4x100 relay, marking the fastest in state history. Meanwhile, the Rosary team, featuring sophomore Tra’via Flournoy, senior Justine Wilson, junior Pfeiffer Lee, and sophomore Maliyah Collins, broke a 22-year-old state record with a time of 44.23 seconds. Coach Brandon Thomas, who oversees both teams, expressed his commitment to supporting the track community by participating in the event. Additionally, defending state high jump champion JJ Harel will compete after recently recovering from an injury.
