Lightscape 2026 has returned to Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens, offering an enchanting after-dark experience from June 12 to August 2, 2026. This year's event features 15 new and returning installations by artists from around the world, including Australian
and First Peoples creatives. The installations create a narrative of light, movement, and sound, transforming the gardens into a vibrant spectacle. Highlights include the Australian premiere of 'Bifröst' by French studio Pitaya and 'Firefly Field' by Dutch studio TOER. The event also includes returning favorites like the Winter Cathedral and Fire Garden. Lightscape aims to celebrate art, nature, and community, providing a magical winter experience for visitors.
