Armstrong Industrial, a division of Armstrong Fluid Technology, has entered into a strategic partnership with Hystar, a Norwegian developer of ultra-efficient proton exchange membrane (PEM) stacks. This collaboration aims to deliver integrated and modular
hydrogen production plants ranging from 1 MW to 20 MW, with larger options available. The partnership combines Hystar's PEM stack technology with Armstrong's expertise in balance-of-plant (BOP) integration, providing scalable and industrial-grade green hydrogen solutions. Michael Cline, General Manager of Armstrong Industrial, emphasized the partnership's alignment with both companies' commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. The collaboration has been in development for nearly two years, with joint workshops and customer engagements strengthening technical and commercial alignment.
