Indian software company KPIT Technologies has announced its plan to acquire Israeli cybersecurity firm Cymotive in a deal valued at up to $120 million. The acquisition will occur in stages, with an initial
investment of $10 million by KPIT, which will be converted into shares contingent upon Cymotive meeting certain milestones. The full acquisition is expected to be completed by mid-2029, with the total consideration ranging from $60 million to $120 million, depending on Cymotive's revenue and EBIT performance. Cymotive, founded in 2016 by former Shin Bet officials, specializes in cybersecurity for software-defined vehicles, offering solutions for secure architecture, threat detection, and regulatory compliance. Despite the change in ownership, Cymotive will continue to operate under its current management while leveraging KPIT's delivery capabilities and international customer network.
