What's Happening?
YouTube is enhancing its music TV experience with the introduction of FAST channels, known as Stations, just in time for Coachella 2026. These channels will provide 24-7 linear streams featuring videos from artists performing at the festival, including
archival performances, interviews, and festival highlights. This initiative aims to offer a passive viewing experience similar to traditional TV, without the need for a paid subscription. YouTube has already started rolling out this feature with select musicians, such as Bruno Mars, who is using it to promote his new album. The company plans to eventually make Stations available to all creators, allowing them to create playlists and start their own channels.
