UK budget airline EasyJet has celebrated a significant milestone with the delivery of its 100th A320neo-family aircraft. The latest addition, an A321neo, was handed over at a ceremony at Airbus's Hamburg Finkenwerder final assembly line. This delivery is part
of EasyJet's ongoing fleet renewal strategy, which began with its first order for A320neo-family jets in 2013. The airline's current fleet now includes 359 Airbus narrowbodies, with plans to expand to 389 by September 2028. The A321neo is equipped with CFM International Leap-1A engines and features the latest Airspace cabin design, configured with 235 seats. EasyJet is also retrofitting its existing fleet to a common cabin standard and plans to introduce ultra-lightweight Kestrel seats from 2028 to enhance passenger comfort and reduce aircraft weight.
