Ampersand Energy has announced a partnership with Wylex Mobility to integrate its battery swap network with Wylex's electric motorcycles across East Africa. This collaboration marks Ampersand as the first
electric transport company in Africa to open its battery swap network to third-party manufacturers. The partnership aims to enhance interoperability in the African electric motorcycle sector, allowing other OEMs and electric vehicles to utilize Ampersand's infrastructure. Ampersand's network, which already supports over 20,000 battery swaps daily, is set to accelerate the adoption of electric transportation in the region.
