Air Products, a leader in gas separation and purification membranes, has completed a $70 million expansion of its Missouri Manufacturing and Logistics Center in Maryland Heights, near St. Louis. This expansion, the largest single-location investment by
Air Products Membrane Solutions, is driven by increased demand in biogas and hydrogen recovery applications, as well as the need for nitrogen in the aerospace industry and cleaner fuels for the marine industry. The facility will produce PRISM® GreenSep and PRISM® N2 Sep membrane separators, which are crucial for bio-LNG production and nitrogen separation, respectively. The expansion has resulted in the creation of over 70 new jobs, bringing the total workforce at the facility to more than 250 employees. The ribbon-cutting event was attended by over 100 guests, including local and state leaders.
