The NHL and NHLPA have partnered with Dylan Larkin, a player for the Detroit Red Wings, to support World Down Syndrome Day through a unique initiative involving player-designed socks. The socks, featuring designs by Larkin and Charlie McAvoy, incorporate

Larkin's design includes his jersey number and a motivational quote, while McAvoy's features a nature-inspired pattern with the 'three arrows' symbol. The NHL and NHLPA are also contributing financially, with donations of $10,000 and $5,000, respectively, to the American Special Hockey Association (ASHA).
