Michael Kelly, Vice President and Publisher of Boom! Studios, is set to depart the company in mid-June to pursue other opportunities. Kelly joined Boom! Studios in 2024, following its acquisition by Random House Publishing Group. During his tenure, he played
a key role in integrating Boom! into the Random House Worlds Group, a process completed in March. Following his departure, Andy Schmidt, VP and Editor-in-Chief of Boom!, will report to Keith Clayton, SVP and Publisher of the Random House Worlds Group.
