What's Happening?
The M-A Orchestra and Band recently held their annual Spring Concert, showcasing a diverse array of musical performances at the Performing Arts Center. The event featured the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Orchestra, each delivering a series
of well-received pieces. The Concert Band opened with John Williams’ 'Superman,' followed by a variety of compositions that highlighted the talents of the student musicians. The Jazz Band and Jazz Ensemble continued the evening with performances of classic and contemporary pieces, including 'Blues for Mr. B' and 'Nutville.' The Orchestra concluded the concert with a selection of classical works, including Tchaikovsky’s 'Romeo and Juliet Overture.' The concert was a culmination of the students' hard work and dedication throughout the year, as noted by Music Director William Flaherty.
