Vibhuti Jain, the Regional Head for Africa at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), is set to participate in the African Mining Week 2026 Conference and Exhibition in Cape Town. This event, scheduled for October 14-16, will focus
on strengthening the U.S.'s critical minerals supply chain through strategic partnerships with Africa's mineral-rich nations. The global demand for critical minerals is expected to triple by 2030, making this engagement timely. The DFC has already made significant investments in Africa, including acquiring an equity stake in Syrah Resources, which operates the Balama Graphite Mine in Mozambique.
