Platoon Aviation, a Hamburg-based charter operator, has entered into a significant agreement with Textron Aviation to acquire multiple Cessna Citation Longitude aircraft. This deal will position Platoon Aviation as the owner of the largest Citation Longitude fleet
in Europe. The aircraft deliveries are scheduled to commence in 2027, enhancing the company's ability to offer flexible, reliable, and connected private jet travel across Europe. The Citation Longitude, a super-midsize business jet, boasts a range of 3,500 nautical miles and can accommodate up to 12 passengers. Platoon Aviation's CEO, Deniz Weißenborn, emphasized the company's commitment to building a next-generation aviation platform that prioritizes operational efficiency, sustainability, and passenger comfort. Textron Aviation's senior vice president of sales and marketing, Lannie O’Bannion, highlighted the deal as a testament to the Citation Longitude's leadership in its segment and the trust placed in Textron by its customers.
