Award-winning vocalist Debo Ray has released the first single from her upcoming EP, 'Echoes and Embers.' The single, titled 'Going Down,' is a contemporary R&B track that delves into Ray's personal experiences
with mental health challenges. The song was co-written with Jerry Velona, John Kim, and producer Prince Charles Alexander, and recorded at Dimension Sound in Jamaica Plain, MA. Ray's new EP is a four-song narrative exploring her journey through mental health struggles and her determination to overcome them. Each track will be released separately over the coming months, with the full EP available by May 2026. Ray aims to foster dialogue about mental health issues through her music, hoping to connect with listeners who may resonate with her experiences.
