David Briggs, co-founder and CEO of Sustainable Beef in North Platte, Nebraska, has been inducted into the Nebraska Hall of Agricultural Achievement. Briggs was recognized for his significant contributions to the state's agriculture industry, including
the development of a $400 million beef processing facility that began operations in 2025. This facility is one of the most substantial recent investments in Nebraska's beef industry, enhancing market access and opportunities for producers. Briggs also serves as president and CEO of Western Cooperative Co., which has expanded under his leadership to 17 locations and over 200 employees.
