Venari Minerals is advancing its Red Mountain Lithium Project in Nevada, which is gaining attention as a high-grade lithium asset. The project is strategically located near a major transcontinental highway
and a 500-kilovolt transmission line, reducing upfront power connection costs. It is also close to the Tesla Gigafactory, potentially facilitating future partnerships. The project boasts a high-grade lithium deposit that can produce battery-grade lithium directly at the mine site, eliminating the need for off-site processing. Initial test work has shown promising results, with the ability to produce 99.5% pure battery-grade lithium carbonate. The project is part of a broader push in the U.S. to onshore its critical mineral supply chain, as the country currently produces only 2% of the lithium it consumes.
