Cornerstone has secured worldwide sales rights for the film 'A Waiter in Paris,' featuring actors Leo Woodall and Clémence Poésy. The film, directed by Peter Hoar, is an adaptation of Edward Chisholm's memoir and is set to be shot in Paris. The narrative
follows a character known as L’Anglais, who, in an attempt to prove himself, joins the ranks of Parisian waiters. The story explores themes of ambition, exploitation, and the challenges faced by those in the service industry. The project is backed by BBC Film, Curzon, Cineart, and Madman, with pre-sales already secured in the UK, Benelux, and Australia. Cornerstone plans to launch sales at the Cannes Market, with WME Independent co-representing the U.S. market.
