Decathlon has launched a comprehensive automation initiative across seven logistics centers in Europe, including the UK, as part of its strategy to standardize and scale its supply chain operations. This initiative, named Skyfleet, is developed in collaboration
with Exotec, a company specializing in warehouse logistics solutions. The program builds on a partnership that began in 2021 with the deployment of robotic systems. The automation covers various processes such as picking, storage, and order preparation, utilizing fleets of up to 200 robots per site capable of processing up to 200,000 items daily.
