Kimbell Royalty Partners has announced a $147 million acquisition of mineral and royalty interests in the Permian Basin from Mesa Royalties. This acquisition includes approximately 711 net royalty acres across multiple areas in the basin, involving over
2,300 producing wells and numerous undeveloped drilling locations. The assets are expected to produce around 1,390 barrels of oil equivalent per day over the next year. The transaction, set to close in the second quarter of 2026, will be funded through a mix of cash and equity, enhancing Kimbell's oil-weighted production portfolio.
