Geely Auto has introduced the i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid, a new hybrid system that combines AI-driven energy management with an upgraded vehicle architecture. This system boasts a Guinness World Records-verified thermal efficiency of 48.41% and is set to enter
mass production immediately. The i-HEV will initially be fitted across several models, including the Preface, Monjaro, Starray, and Fifth Generation Emgrand. The system is built on Full-domain AI 2.0 and the i-CMA architecture, which integrates intelligent driving, cockpit, and chassis controls into a centralized platform. A notable feature, AI Cloud Power, adjusts the petrol-electric energy strategy in real time using external data such as temperature, humidity, and altitude, claiming over 10% improvement in energy efficiency compared to conventional hybrid layouts.
