The Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) has named Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan as the 2025 Rookie of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year. McMillan, a standout rookie,
led all NFL rookies in receiving yards with 1,014 and scored seven touchdowns. His performance included 27 explosive receptions, the most by any NFL rookie this season. Meanwhile, Cleveland Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger was honored as the Defensive Rookie of the Year. Schwesinger led all NFL rookies in tackles and tackles for loss, recording 146 tackles, 11 for loss, and two interceptions. Both players were instrumental in their teams' performances throughout the season.
