Rob Lloyd, Seattle's Chief Technology Officer, will leave his position at the end of the month to join the Center for Digital Government (CDG) as executive director. Lloyd has a distinguished career in public-sector IT leadership, having served in various
roles across Arizona, Oregon, and California before his tenure in Seattle. At CDG, he will lead research and advisory programs, focusing on digital communities and public sector AI. His departure marks a significant transition for Seattle's IT department, with Assistant CTO Tracye Cantrell stepping in as interim CTO.
