Romeo Juarez, a junior at Reseda High School, won the City Section individual golf title, becoming the first from his school to achieve this honor. The championship was held at Wilson Golf Course, a change from the expected Harding course. Juarez shot
a two-under-par 70, overcoming the challenge of an unfamiliar course. He birdied several holes, including the first, seventh, ninth, 12th, and 14th, despite bogeys on others. Juarez's performance was marked by strategic play and effective use of his wedges, allowing him to finish three shots ahead of the runner-up.
