What's Happening?
The Summer Sound Series is set to return to downtown New Bedford, offering free concerts from June 26 through September 4. Organized by AHA! New Bedford and presented by Mayor Jon Mitchell, the series will feature performances every Friday night, with
a diverse lineup that includes ska, funk, indie, and reggae music. Notable acts include the NB Rude Boys, Autumn Drive, Morrissey Blvd., The Groovalottos, and Entrain. The series will also coincide with the city's NB250 celebration and the 3rd EyE Open annual hip hop festival. The concerts aim to energize the downtown area and support local businesses, with free parking available at designated garages.
