Ground Control has partnered with VIAVI Solutions Inc. to integrate the Secure µPNT STL-1000 receiver into the RockFLEET Assured maritime tracking and navigation system. This collaboration aims to address the vulnerabilities posed by jamming and spoofing
of GPS and GNSS signals, which are critical for maritime operations. The VIAVI STL-1000 receiver, designed to work with SecureTime altGNSS LEO services, provides precise timing and holdover capabilities, ensuring reliable navigation even in disrupted environments. This marine-grade Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (A-PNT) solution leverages Low Earth Orbit satellite signals to offer a trusted secondary source of positioning data.
