What's Happening?
HospitalityNet is conducting a global study to explore the real-world applications and results of artificial intelligence (AI) in the hotel industry. The study invites hotel industry professionals to participate through interviews or multilingual surveys,
aiming to gather insights on how AI is being utilized across guest experience, operations, and distribution. Participants can choose between a 30-minute interview or a 20-minute online survey, available in seven languages. The study is sponsored by several industry players, including Apaleo and Aven Hospitality. Participants will receive an exclusive Executive Summary of the findings, which will not be publicly released, as a token of appreciation for their input.
Why It's Important?
The study is significant as it seeks to identify where AI is delivering tangible value in the hospitality sector, a key area of interest as the industry increasingly adopts digital solutions. By understanding the effective applications of AI, hotel operators can enhance operational efficiencies, improve guest experiences, and streamline distribution processes. The insights gathered could influence future AI developments and vendor offerings, potentially leading to more tailored and effective AI solutions for the hospitality industry. This initiative underscores the growing importance of AI in transforming traditional business models and improving service delivery in the hospitality sector.
What's Next?
The study's findings, expected to be compiled in an Executive Summary by October, could guide future AI technology developments in the hospitality industry. Hotel operators and technology vendors may use the insights to refine their AI strategies and offerings. The study also provides a platform for industry professionals to voice their experiences and challenges, potentially influencing the direction of AI innovation in hospitality. As AI continues to evolve, the industry may see increased collaboration between technology providers and hotel operators to develop solutions that address specific operational needs and enhance guest satisfaction.
