I-D Magazine has announced the appointment of Ernesto Macias as the global entertainment director and Ch’lita Collins as the fashion editor at large. Macias, who is based in New York, will be responsible for leading talent strategy and building new relationships
across fashion, entertainment, and culture to enhance i-D's editorial voice. Previously, Macias served as the entertainment editor at GQ and Architectural Digest, where he led initiatives such as the GQ Bowl and managed talent for the 'Men of the Year' issue. Collins, based in London, will focus on scouting emerging talent and styling digital and print features to attract a new generation of readers. Her past work includes designing merchandise for Rosalia and styling for Arena Homme + Magazine. These appointments are part of i-D's ongoing efforts to reclaim its cultural authority following its acquisition by Karlie Kloss’s Bedford Media in November 2023.
