Rapper J. Cole has signed a contract to play with the Nanjing Monkey Kings in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). This marks his third stint in international professional basketball, having previously played for the Rwanda Patriots in the Basketball Africa
League in 2021 and the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the Canadian Elite Basketball League in 2022. The Nanjing Monkey Kings, based in Jiangsu, China, compete in the Southern Division of the CBA. J. Cole, whose full name is Jermaine Cole, is a multi-Grammy-Award-winning artist known for his music career. His return to basketball comes after releasing his latest album, 'The Fall-Off,' in February. The rapper had initially committed to playing for the Chinese team last year but was unable to participate at that time.
