What's Happening?
Chicago is set to host a series of concerts across various genres to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend. The events aim to honor the legacy of the civil rights leader while supporting Black artists
and musicians. The lineup includes performances by Denitia, known for her blend of country and contemporary music, and the Rebirth Brass Band, bringing New Orleans jazz and funk to the city. Other events include a house music tribute to Frankie Knuckles and a classical concert by the Chicago Sinfonietta, featuring a world premiere and a tribute to Dr. Daniel Hale Williams.
