The Minnesota Golden Gophers have added Kason Clayborne, a linebacker from Sioux City, Iowa, to their 2027 recruiting class. Clayborne, who stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 215 pounds, has committed to Minnesota after receiving offers from Michigan State,
Purdue, and Kansas. He played both linebacker and wide receiver at Sioux City East High School, recording 51 tackles and 27 catches for 302 yards and six touchdowns as a junior.
