What's Happening?
Montage International, in collaboration with Thor Urbana and Life Properties International, has announced the development of a new luxury resort, Montage Valle de Guadalupe, located within the Bruma Wine
Estate in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico. This will be Montage International's fifth property in Mexico, following the successful launch of Montage Los Cabos in 2018. The resort is set to open in 2028 and will feature 62 guestrooms and a limited collection of Montage Residences. The development aims to offer a comprehensive luxury experience with amenities such as a signature restaurant, spa, fitness center, and various event spaces. Valle de Guadalupe is renowned for its wine production, contributing 90% of all Mexican wine, and is a popular destination for food and wine enthusiasts.
Why It's Important?
The development of Montage Valle de Guadalupe highlights the growing interest in luxury tourism and real estate in Mexico, particularly in regions known for their cultural and culinary offerings. This project is significant as it represents a strategic expansion for Montage International in a region that is increasingly attracting international tourists. The resort's focus on integrating local culture and traditions with luxury amenities could set a new standard for hospitality in the area. Additionally, the project is expected to boost the local economy by creating jobs and attracting more visitors to the region, which is already a key player in Mexico's wine industry.
What's Next?
As the project progresses towards its 2028 opening, stakeholders will likely focus on the construction and development phases, ensuring that the resort meets the high standards set by Montage International. The collaboration with Thor Urbana and Life Properties International suggests a continued partnership in future projects, potentially expanding their footprint in other luxury destinations. The resort's opening will also coincide with the development of additional amenities and attractions in the Bruma Wine Estate, further enhancing the region's appeal as a premier destination for luxury travel.
