What's Happening?
The Merkos Chinuch Office has conducted the fourth session of its Foundations of Chinuch training series, focusing on enhancing students' self-worth through Jewish educational principles. The training emphasizes
the Rebbe's approach to chinuch, using the Twelve Pesukim to instill values such as Ahavas Yisroel and personal identity. Educators are provided with tools to teach students about their inherent worth and the importance of community values. The sessions cater to different age groups, offering practical guidance for educators to implement these teachings in classrooms.
Why It's Important?
This training is crucial for fostering a positive educational environment where students feel valued and connected to their cultural heritage. By focusing on self-worth and community values, the program aims to build a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages personal growth and mutual respect. For the U.S. Jewish community, such initiatives strengthen cultural identity and continuity, ensuring that future generations are well-equipped to uphold and propagate their traditions.
