Hitec Commercial Solutions has launched the BD10BL, a high-performance brushless servo actuator designed for small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). This new actuator is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of professional sUAS applications, featuring
a Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) of over 500 hours. The BD10BL is constructed with a lightweight 10mm case made from super engineered plastic, weighing only 11.8 grams, making it suitable for aircraft where space and weight are critical. It boasts a durability rating of 1.2 million cycles and operates across a voltage range of 4.0V to 8.4V, delivering a torque of 2.8 kgf•cm and a speed of 0.09 sec/60° at 7.4V. The actuator supports both CAN 2.0A/B and DroneCAN command protocols, ensuring compatibility with various platforms. Hitec has confirmed that the BD10BL is NDAA compliant and manufactured using non-Chinese components to meet high performance and safety standards.
