national champion No. 24 LSU in Baton Rouge on April 7, followed by a victory against No. 7 Florida in Gainesville on April 14. Both victories were marked by dominant seventh-inning rallies that the home teams could not counter. Key players such as Andrey Martinez and Darryl Lee contributed significantly to the wins, with Martinez going 3-for-6 with a home run and four RBIs, and Lee also going 3-for-6 with three RBIs.
